The Wellington Family 4×4 Club was formed by a group of enthusiasts who met over the Internet and began to meet up and run ad-hoc trips into various locations in the Greater Wellington area.
Primarily family-orientated, many of the Club runs are scenic in nature with barbeques and the like, with stops for kids to enjoy themselves.
Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month – except January – at the Bellevue Gardens Hotel, 140 Woburn Rd, Lower Hutt at 7pm. Meet up at 6pm and join many for a bar-meal from the inexpensive and wholesome menu.
This is not to say that the Club doesn’t undertake more adventurous activities for the “bigger kid” in all of us.
